Configure Help URLs for the POS
You can access a link to the NCR Silver help website (customercare.ncrsilver.com) from the Slide-Out Menu of the POS. If you have other external websites that you want to have quick access to, you can configure up to three URL addresses in the Back Office that will appear when someone taps Help.
Note: The URLs you configure will open up within the app. They will not open the website in a separate internet browser window.
To configure the URLs:
Log in to the Back Office.
Click the profile icon and select My Account.
Click My Help URLs from the options on the left of the screen.
The default URL appears in the center of the page. If you want to hide the URL from the POS click Hide. Click Show when you want to reshow the URL on the POS.
Click Add a URL.
Enter the URL (website address) and Display Name for the POS.
Click the Save Changes button.
To access the new help URL on your Silver POS app:
Open the Slide-Out Menu and tap Help at the bottom of the menu.
Tap the name of the website you wish to access.
Tap return to POS to get back to the POS app.
